No licence. No skipper. Just you at the wheel.

The question everybody asks

Can I reallydrive it myself?

Yes. This boat sits inside the engine size that can legally be driven without a licence, so there is no exam, no paperwork and no course. You need to be 18 or over and sober. That is the whole list.

  1. 01

    Turn up at the pontoon

We meet you at Porto Marena. Bring your ID and a card for the €200 deposit — that comes straight back when the boat does.

  2. 02

    Fifteen minutes with us

Throttle, steering, anchor, radio, life jackets, and where the good stuff is on the map. It is a small boat and it is genuinely easy — if you can drive a car, you can drive this.

  3. 03

    Then it's yours

No skipper sitting in the corner. You pick where to stop, how long to swim and when to come back. We are on the phone the whole time if you want us.

The boat

Small enoughto feel easy.

An open 4.95 m deck boat from 2022. Light on the wheel, shallow enough to nose into a cove, and big enough that six people are not sitting on each other.

What you actually do with it

Four hours islonger than you think.

  1. A snorkeller underwater over a sandy seabed with the hull of the boat above her

    The main reason people book

    Swim where nobody else is

The good water is always fifteen minutes past the last umbrella. Drop the anchor over sand, put a mask on, and there is nobody within shouting distance.

    01 / 04

  2. Two glasses and a small picnic board on a towel on the sunlit deck

    For two

A date that isn't another dinner

Bring a bottle, something cold to eat and a speaker. Twenty minutes out, anchor somewhere quiet, and the whole deck is the table.

    02 / 04

  3. A group cheering from the back of the boat, photographed from the water

    For four to six

A birthday with no waiting list

No booking a table for six, no bar bill, no closing time. Split between friends it costs less than a night out, and the photos are better.

    03 / 04

  4. A couple sitting on the bow of the boat watching the sun set over the coastline

    The long version

Stay out until the light goes gold

Take the eight hours. Swim in the morning, eat on board, and be sitting on the bow with the engine off when the sun goes down behind the city.

What people say after

Nobody givesthe boat back.

4.9 average · sample content

I have never driven a boat in my life. Fifteen minutes later I was doing it. We found a bay with nobody in it and stayed there for three hours.
Marta · Half day · two of us
Booked it for my girlfriend's birthday instead of a restaurant. Best decision of the trip.
Tom · Full day · four of us
The briefing was genuinely useful and not a sales pitch. He drew the good stops on a map and was right about all of them.
Aleks · Half day · three of us
Wind picked up the day before and they moved us with no fuss. Went out the next morning, flat as glass.
Chloé · Full day · six of us
Cheaper per person than the boat tour we did the year before, and there were forty strangers on that one.
Daniel · Half day · six of us

Good to know

Short rules,no small print.

The rules, all of them

  • Whoever drives, doesn't drink

Bring what you like on board, but the person at the wheel stays sober. Same rule as a car. No drugs, ever.

  • Stay inside 2 nautical miles

That is the permitted area for this boat — measured from the shore or the marina. We show you exactly where the line is on the map.

  • Come back on time

Late returns are charged as an extra hour at €40. Set an alarm — it is very easy to lose track out there.

  • 18+, with ID

The person renting must be 18 or over and show ID. The €200 deposit covers damage and comes straight back if there is none.

  • Do what the briefing says

Life jackets on board for everyone, anchor properly, and no swimming with the engine running. It is the short list and it keeps everyone fine.

  • The sea decides

If conditions are unsafe we cancel — you move your date or get a full refund. We would rather lose a booking than send you out in it.

Questions people ask

We watch the forecast and call you the evening before. If it is not safe you move to another day or get everything back. If it turns while you are out, come in early and we sort the time out afterwards.
